A highly successful global food company with a UK South East located, international business unit with responsibility for UK, Europe, Middle East & Asia regions.
This successful international business unit works with pace and enthusiasm within a clear, well-invested, brand-led strategy. This has resulted in substantial sales and profit growth including doubling the business over the last 5 years, with a vision to do the same over the next 3-5 years through further market penetration, NPD, consumer brand marketing and increased top talent team resourcing focused on improving processes and speed of delivery.
Investment for 2022 growth National Account departmental role reporting to a UK SNAM, this broad-based position will take responsibility for further developing and inspiring the UK convenience retail channel sales plan through appointed distributors, as well as directly managing targeted new high street discounter accounts. You will shape brand-led trading proposals, contact buyers and build relationships to help drive new listings and points of distribution for their range of highly engaging, high quality, added value and fast selling products.
Above all, the role is about connecting with the brand’s personality and going out each day to ‘SELL’ the brand and product proposition with authority, energy, enthusiasm and ambition to achieve your commercial objectives.
The successful candidate will be fully supported by the senior commercial team and expected to step up to full NAM status within the next few years.
Having graduated, your career in FMCG sales has matured over the last 3-5 years within a major branded food, drink or confectionery business in Territory Sales or Business Development and you have progressed up into Regional Account Management or National Account Executive roles. You have developed a sound understanding of modern account management activities, which must include a basic level of skills and experience with negotiation and category insight-led, fact-based selling at head office level across any of the major retail or wholesale channels.
