National Account Executive - Non-Food

Our client is a highly reputable, traditional and iconic non-food brand and a market leader in their category. This is an international company in a specific product category that operates as a small business in the UK, with a fantastic close-knit, kind and considerate culture. Renowned for innovation, constant evolution and maintaining it's traditional branded proposition in the market. The company sell to a mix of retail customers and direct to end users. They can offer a fantastic culture with autonomy, trust and the chance to develop. An opportunity has arisen for a National Account Executive to join the UK team.

Role

As National Account Executive you will be involved in a mix of retail and end user accounts, working closely with the Head of Sales and UK National Account Manager. These could include major UK grocers, high street and educational based end users for example. You will ideally understand a category management led approach to selling, be analytical and have a structured sales background. The role offers a variety of business planning, new business development and administration. It's customer centric, about building relationships and driving sales in the UK.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be at National Account Executive level and seeking a new opportunity. You may also be at Key Account, Junior NAM or field sales level and seeking progression. Ideally you will have previous experience in a branded non-food business - for example toys, housewares, stationery, electrical or a closely aligned area. Candidates from more traditional FMCG areas will also be considered. You may be looking for a change of direction in a new product area with a small business culture where you can develop your career.

This role is home-based with some travel to a South-East based head office.
