The Role of Sales Representative:

Working from home, you will visit independent and group garden centres throughout Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset – adjusting your journey plan to reflect the changing needs of customer throughout the season.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Capturing orders and managing relationships for existing customers
• Negotiating display space and product range for each store to increase sales
• Meeting targets for sales growth and new customer acquisitions
• Merchandise fixtures to maximise in-store impact
• Provide market insight and feedback ideas

Candidate Profile: Sales Representative

We are looking for an established and highly professional Sales Representative with a proven track record of selling to garden centres or other independent retailers. Stable and with an excellent track record you will be looking for a first-class employer and a long-term commitment.

The key requirements are:

• Great communication skills, energetic and highly motivated
• Likeable, gregarious and great at building relationships
• Equally driven by sales achievement and customer service
• Used to working from home, journey planning, field sales calls and follow up
• Self-motivated and always learning
