The Company

Our client is a highly successful division of a major FMCG company operating across a number of diverse categories. The company has a growing presence in the grocery, household and healthcare categories with market leading brands. Still proudly privately owned and entrepreneurial, our client remains committed to strengthening its presence in the FMCG sector. They are now seeking a Commercial Co-ordinator to join one of their key business units.

The Role

Your key responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the Commercial Manager, including sales reporting, sales forecast analysis, account planning as well as preparing Trade Marketing activations. You will build strong relationships internally and with key customers and will become the acknowledged expert on your customers’ category areas. This role can provide an excellent springboard for a successful FMCG career in Sales, Category or Marketing.

About You

Of graduate calibre, you have some practical commercial administration experience under your belt, ideally gained within an FMCG environment. Ambitious recent graduates, e.g. in Business, with a year’s placement experience in a Sales team, will also be considered as our client offers an excellent training programme. Alternatively, you may have taken time off to raise a family and are now looking to get back into an office environment.

You possess good analytical skills, with a can-do attitude and excellent teamworking skills. You must be confident liaising across departments, both internal and external to the company. A good level of competency in Microsoft Excel is preferable. 

This is an office-based contract; however, you can work from home up to 2 days a week.
