  • This Category Executive role is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has a passion for food, the customer and creating profitable ranges

The role:

  • The successful Category Executive will work with the commercial managers to deliver range reviews and category strategies across a designated food category.
  • As Category Executive you will gather insights, competitor reviews customer research to ensure the range meets customer expectations
  • As Category Executive you will make category optimisation recommendations and identify opportunities for NPD
  • The Category Executive will translate the category strategy into category execution that will deliver the targeted performance

Ideal candidate:

  • You will currently be working as a food buyer or category executive whether within food retail or food wholesale within the UK
  • It is essential that you can demonstrate a passion for the customer and a flair for commerciality along with fantastic insight and data analysis skills
  • Working as part of a team you must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with stakeholders.
  • You will have excellent planning and organization skills and will be able to work independently on your own initiative, a self-starter with can-do attitude
