Role

With a strong brand and high demand for our products, we recognise the need to keep developing our sales team. With significant opportunity for growth in the food service/wholesale sector, this role presents an exciting opportunity for someone to take the lead in building new customer partnerships whilst also gaining great account management experience nurturing and growing business with our existing partners.

Requirements

  • Strong ethical code – care enough to do the right thing
  • Willingness to travel nationwide including to our Creamery in Cornwall
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, we encourage an entrepreneurial flare and working on your own initiative
  • Love selling and proven sales experience
  • Sound administrative skills
  • Food sector experience
  • Energy, drive and high achievement focus

Responsibilities

  • Account management of our existing food service/wholesale accounts
  • Plan, find and bring in new customers and business
  • Build relationships with wholesaler teams and when required run on site telesales incentive days
  • Roll your sleeves up and administer issuing of samples, respond to wholesaler requests, sign off and report on promotional claims
  • Know your numbers produce, analyse and act on sale reports to ensure profitable growth
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships with colleagues who will support you when out in the field
  • Support the Commercial Manager and wider sales team, in delivering the sales plans, objectives and activities
