Croeso - Welcome! to the wonderful world of LLaeth Y Llan, Village Dairy where we (Gareth & Falmai Roberts and their family ) have produced superb yogurt from our farmhouse since 1985. Who knew that from our first trials of yogurt in the Tal Y Bryn farmhouse airing cupboard we would develop into a thriving producer of the highest quality Welsh yogurt with an exciting and growing Brand!
Indeed, would you believe the initial dairy was converted from an old Calf shed, where milk was bottled, cream separated and yogurt produced all next door to the milking parlour and cow holding areas, where cows would wait to be milked.
Then in 1995 we designed and built a fabulous modern dairy. For the next 20 years this was our HQ, bits and bobs were added along the way to increase capacity, but the initial design allowed us to grow for some 20 years. So much so that by 2015 our brand was being stocked throughout Wales in 4 major retailers , aswell as milkmen , wholesalers and independent stores and the old dairy was at max capacity and then some.
Onwards and upwards we went. Planning was granted to build a larger production facility next door to the old dairy, specifically designed from the start to create high quality yogurt and still on the Roberts Farm site.
Now we’ve fully moved into the new dairy we’re busier than ever, still creating award winning yogurt and growing at an ever-increasing rate.

As the Regional Account Manager, you will take accountability of managing several Leading Regional Convenience Retailers & Foodservice Customers & Buying Groups across Wales. Having close involvement with Regional P&L management and leading the way with range management and merchandising, you will feel challenged and enthused as you find new ways of understanding your customer and end consumer.
This role reports into the Commercial Manager.
- Managing and growing Current Business/Customers.
- Also Winning & Managing New Business.
- Direct customer contact across all relevant functions.
- Drive distribution of existing and new products.
- Manage product mix to maximise margin.
- Negotiate all elements of pricing, terms and promotions within Business guidelines.
- Deliver price increases.
- Pre-and post-evaluate promotional activity.
- Ensure that activity supports central brand direction where applicable.
- Exercise Trade Spend control and process adherence.
- Manage effective communication of Brand plans to the Customer Base.
The category in which the role operates brings both challenges of Chilled/Short-Shelf-Life Products and Branded Strategies & Initiatives. But this also what makes it exciting and fast paced, where you can truly make a difference.

The ideal candidate will have gained strong experience in Regional or Key Account Management for a leading FMCG Branded Business. However, we are also open to candidates from a Private Label background.
You will have gained channel experience across any of the following:
- Convenience Channel
- Foodservice Wholesale
- Foodservice- End User
- Or even Grocer/Retail Regional Accounts
