National Account Executive - Asda & Morrisons - Well-Known Branded Business



The Business

With a diverse product portfolio and strong relationships within the major retailers, this admired organisation continues to challenge the status quo, pushing innovation and investing in future growth opportunities. To bolster the national accounts team and support the Senior National Account Manager, a permanent National Account Executive is needed to join the team.



The Position

This role is head-office based (London) and will support the National Account Controller and National Account Manager for Asda & Morrisons. You will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the development and implementation of commercial Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with the customer
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasting
  • Launching and driving NPD
  • Supporting promotional plans for product portfolio




To Be Successful
  • Experience at National Account Executive level within FMCG, ideally across retail customers
  • A good understanding of the FMCG marketplace, its key players and projected market dynamics
  • Understanding of how an Account Manager / Buyer relationship functions
  • Experience of building relationships at multiple levels internally & externally
  • Strong capability in Excel and experience of supply chain forecasting & customer analytics
  • Financial numeracy & broad business knowledge
  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
  • Commutable to London (2 days a week)
