Job Details

JOB PURPOSE
The site administrator provides a key support function to SRDC, including Tolwell Road and Skelmersdale Warehouse.

Responsible for general site administration, site Communications and R&R.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Principal activities include:

  • General administration support to the site and Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
  • Providing administration support across the Logistics function to the Network Leadership Team and other sites
  • Ownership of site reward and recognition initiatives
  • Ordering and distributing office equipment and supplies
  • Ordering and distributing of Uniform
  • SLT, Team Brief and roundtables co-ordination
  • Co-ordination of site Communications
  • Planning and organising events
  • Administration of meeting rooms
  • Ensuring a professional image is maintained at the site - reception, information boards, meeting rooms etc.
  • Co-ordination of site visits
  • Managing charitable donation requests
  • Tolwell Road Gym induction administration


Any other duties, commensurate and applicable to this role.

JOB DIMENSIONS
Financial - Managing budgets R&R, stationary, Uniform, Events within pre-defined limits. Making recommendations for exceptional spend.

Non-Financial - this role has no supervisory responsibility.
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
As above, spend within pre-defined limits as determined with line manager or site lead.

Regular contact with manager on workload and priorities.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

 

  • Good academic background with GCSE Maths and English to Grade C or above
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral
  • Good organisational and planning skills - ability to prioritise tasks and achieve results/ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills
  • Highly motivated, with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible in approach to ongoing role development
  • Previous experience in an administration role preferable
  • Good team player
  • Awareness of confidentiality when dealing with personal information
  • Honest, reliable and willing to speak with truth and candour


SPECIAL FEATURES
The successful candidate will liaise with a wide variety of employees, levelled and un-levelled, internally and external to the function, e.g. front-line employees, SLT, HR and other site administration functions.
