About the Role:

  • Working as a Speciality Coffee Business Development Manager, you will be passionate about developing new business and want to have a direct impact on the growth of a company.
  • You will sell and promote coffee, coffee machines, maintenance and side products throughout the London area in order to achieve targets and grow market share.

 

Duties Will Be Varied and Will Include:

  • Generating new business customers across coffee, equipment, and maintenance in the OOH channel to include café’s, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, leisure sites, Co working space etc
  • Developing a growth strategy focused on opening new accounts and increasing the product range within existing accounts
  • Arranging business meetings with prospective clients from your own network of contacts.
  • Providing accurate sales forecast for new accounts opened
  • Carrying out structured account management visits to review performance of the account in accordance with the SLA’s
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to senior decision makers
  • Attending relevant exhibitions and networking groups
  • Carrying out equipment demonstrations in the London showroom
  • Preparing proposals for all new opportunities (with the support of internal sales team)
  • Maximising coffee, equipment, maintenance, and side products opportunities through developing relationships with new customers by prospecting via networking, cold calling, and sales leads
  • Responding quickly to all in-coming sales enquires and follow through within agreed customer timeframes; ensuring all quotations are accurate and according to agreed commercial terms and in line with the businesses margin expectations
  • Assist with new site openings, site launch days, installs and promotional activity as required

 

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to be considered for the role of Specialty Coffee Business Development Manager, you must possess the following;

  • Strong, current coffee knowledge and experience
  • A solid understanding of the London’s café society and the people who work within it
  • Ideally based in/near London
  • A full UK driving license
  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or similar
  • Relevant experience of working in similar markets (i.e. OOH channel to include café’s, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, leisure sites, Co working space)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP software (e.g. HubSpot/SAP)
  • A genuine passion for Coffee
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Willing to have sales training
  • Effective time management and planning skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude
  • A flexible approach to work, location and hours

 

Salary/Benefits Information:

  • In return for your role as Coffee Business Development Manager, you will receive a basic salary of up to £35,000 p.a (depending on experience), a car and a competitive bonus as well as other benefits.
