Job Details

The Business 

Our client provide the delivered wholesale service to a number of different customers across Northern England. They are also one of the country's leading independent cash and carry / delivered wholesale suppliers. Also, offering the fastest growing retail network in the UK.

 

The Role 

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to work on existing and new business within the Independent / Convenience channel. This will involve building effective relationships with all customers in the designated region, promoting the business as a supplier of choice to your group of customers and seeking innovative ways to capture the maximum sales value from each store.

You will also be required to secure new customer prospects whilst maintaining existing relationships, building strong intercompany links through the use of supply agreements.

Effectively manage your territory to ensure continued sales growth and increased customer numbers, allocate time appropriately and ensure minimum order quantities, promotional participation and payment schedules are meet consistently.

 

The Person

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar customer channel and have an understanding of how this delivered wholesale model works, be commercially savvy and capable of building relationships through speaking to new, potential customers. You will have excellent time management skills along with being able to analyse data and use this within your day to day work. 

You must strive for the best and try for the top results.
