National Sales Manager – Toys
£50-75,000 Basic, Bonus, Company Car + Benefits
Our Client is an established & successful Toy Company.
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced National Sales Manager to manage a field based sales team consisting of National Account Managers & Territory Managers. This role is 100% people management and requires candidates with extensive experience of managing field based sales teams. The role will also have responsibility for an internal/office based sales & administration team.
Candidates must therefore have substantial people management experience in terms of successfully managing sales teams. Candidates must also have had exposure to managing Major/National Accounts in at least one of these channels – Top 4 Grocery Multiples, Visitor Attractions, Leisure, Garden Centres, Airlines, High Street Retail.
The most important attribute however is extensive experience managing Field Based sales teams.
Category wise our Client will consider candidates from any Non Food Consumer categories eg Toys, Gifts, Housewares, Consumer Electronics etc. Experience in the Toy or Gift related sectors would certainly be a bonus but is by no means essential.
Candidates must live commutable distance to our Client’s office in the South East as they will need to be in the office 3 days a week.
