The company:

One of the UK’s largest independent coffee roasters – established over 70 years ago and offering the widest range of commercial coffee machines to market.  These include; Traditional, Bean to Cup, Filter, Nitro and Vending.

They roast, grind and cup their own coffee and are able to offer customers a first – class maintenance and barista training service

The role:

Working as a Coffee Sales/Account Manager covering the central London area, you will be required to achieve agreed sales, profit and business targets by managing the customer accounts in your allocated territory, selling the most appropriate products to meet your customer’s needs. 

Duties will include;

  • Identify new customer opportunities within designated territory.
  • Developing existing customer base by delivering first class customer service and training.
  • Attend monthly and quarterly sales meetings.
  • Assist with trade shows and exhibitions as required.
  • Manage your own diary to arrange customer and prospect appointments.
  • Maintain an up-to-date journey plan and customer database.
  • Oversee all customer interactions including business development, coffee quality, training, machine installs and movements, administration and all aspects of sales support.
  • Constantly review gap analysis and other stats in order to grow customer value.
  • Conduct regular coffee audits.
  • Submit a weekly machine forecast.

The person:

In order to be considered for the role of Coffee Sales/ Account Manager, you must meet the following criteria and qualities:

  • Experience of working in a field sales position within either the coffee industry or similar.
  • Able to work in a structured, fast – paced environment.
  • A positive approach and attitude.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • An eagerness for the challenge to develop existing accounts as well as a strong desire to achieve new business.
  • A genuine and ambitious team player.
  • Highly driven and results focused.
  • A high level of self – discipline and motivation in home – working environment.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.

The benefits:

The job holder will enjoy a negotiable basic salary of up to £32,000 p.a + bonus + car.
