Reporting in to the UK Head of Products & Licensing, you will be responsible for driving the health & wellness category agenda of key Licensees, their Retail Channels, and direct retail business, across a portfolio of wellness Branded Products, together with the Commercial Consumer Products team.

Description
  • To direct the Licensee and Retail Category agenda with the aim of driving net sales value and therefore the royalty revenue received.
  • To manage the continued transition of the brand range and messaging, from a diet based proposition, to a wider and more holistic health and wellness based proposition.
  • To drive net sales revenue of the branded products in store by working with Licensee partners, Retailers and Head of Products & Licensing
  • To translate the strategic direction into the Product range, delivering meaningful and compelling retail offering and plans
  • To report on the performance of the range in retail by assessing all available data, and reviewing and redefining category definition where relevant through the brand transition
  • To manage the data and insights budget and suppliers to ensure we are sourcing and utilising data which enables the wider team to maximise returns through full insight into market, category, customer, shopper, competitor and brand performance
  • To continually develop insight to support the commercial proposition and range
  • To prioritise projects to specifically focus on particular licensees or initiatives
  • To attend internal Commercial Meetings and contribute to the agenda
  • To work with the Commercial Marketing team and make recommendations and lead on the
  • Shopper Activation strategy and implementation
  • On an ad hoc basis, support the team with data/insight requests
  • To integrate into the WW Commercial team and work with other internal stakeholders and increase the success and visibility of the commercial license and retail businesses


Profile
  • Demonstrable success in Top 4 Grocery Category Management within a competitive FMCG environment , preferably Food or Healthcare
  • Highly analytical with a high level of competence in interpreting customer data, whilst drawing insight and forming recommendations
  • Familiar with category and customer data and insight sources such as IRI, Kantar, Dunnhumby, Selfserve and IGD
  • Excellent communication and presenting skills with demonstrated competence in delivering insight and recommendations, and engaging major retailers and internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering results against commercial KPIs
  • Astute commercial acumen - with an eye for detail and opportunity
  • Strong interpersonal & professional relationship building skills
  • Previous experience with licensing/franchise partners is preferable
  • Absolute Team player - High energy, enthusiasm & passion for change together with a burning desire to make a positive difference
  • Ideally educated to Business or Marketing degree level
  • Empathetic to the needs of our Members and Consumers
