National Account Manager required for Global Consumer Business to manage the Amazon account.

Client Details

My client is a growing and dynamic Global Consumer business who have experienced rapid growth in the UK, and are now in excess of £200m turnover, with plans to double this by 2024.

Description

Key Responsibilities of the role:
  • Develop and implement the long-term business strategies, to achieve sales and profit targets within the Amazon account.
  • Broaden the business opportunities by investigating and developing, as appropriate, all options for route to market.
  • Manage business partnerships both current and new to seek out opportunities.
  • Manage support to the sales channel through sales promotions, marketing initiatives and training.
  • Provide and continually update sales forecasts. Communicate this information to product management to support purchasing and stock planning.
  • Maintain an accurate awareness and working knowledge of stock levels.
  • To present activity and performance results at sales meetings. Communicate new ideas to maximise sales and profit and brand awareness.
  • Discuss with Senior Management creative ways of using additional funding for channel development.
  • Report current pricing and product trend information and work with company management to formulate new strategies.
  • Attend Brand and Industry focused Trade shows.




Profile

You will have a strong background working at National Account Manager Level within a consumer-focused business.

You will have proven success in building strong relationships and negotiating with Amazon as a key account, in addition to:
  • An excellent understanding of Amazon with proven capability to manage the daily changes of an online retailer
  • Excellent commercial and account management skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers at multiple levels
  • Ability to negotiate with customers to achieve objectives
  • Experience of using market & consumer insight to deliver commercial benefits
  • Strong analytical skills and able to interpret complex data
  • Good commercial acumen & commercial understanding of other business functions
