Key Account Manager | Foodservice | Homebased
Salary ~£40-45k DOE

About Our Client
Our client is a supplier of a range of plant-based products to the major UK retailers and foodservice sectors. They create authentic Mediterranean food and are passionate about the quality and tastiness of the products they supply. They are a family-run division of a wider PLC business and as a result, are nimble and entrepreneurial, but offer great stability. Their products are approved as vegan and are suitable for vegetarians as well as being gluten-free. They are committed to adding value to their customers. The team is relatively small and everyone gets stuck in where required to deliver the best service.

About the Role
This role is all about managing key accounts in the foodservice sector. Bidfood experience would be considered a massive plus. You will use your account management and foodservice experience to help the business grow further. You will be able to deal with a variety of stakeholders to deliver results - eg. you will be comfortable talking to development chefs in the kitchen, as well as negotiating with buyers and end-users. You will be able to develop relationships with key accounts to pull through the Bidfood network. You will use your experience to land new business and grow sales. Your remit will be to double the sales with Bidfood and to explore and land other customers where possible. You will agree JBP's, promotions, pricing, distribution and be involved in various trade shows.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in an account manager role within the foodservice sector. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to grow sales within key accounts in the foodservice sector. Ideally, you will have Bidfood experience and know-how the business operates. You will have a diverse range of key account customers in the sector and be able to communicate at all levels. You will be highly numerate and organised.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a great track record in the foodservice sector. Presentation and negotiation skills will be a must, as will strong communication, organisation and rapport building.
