About our client
Established for over 50 years, our client is one of the UK's leading agriculture producers of soft fruit. They have several farms across the south of England and run a very successful operation.
About the Role
As Tunnel Manager you will be focused on the farm's polytunnel system including construction, dismantling, maintaining and movement of tunnels. Working closely with the irrigation team to provide a suitable environment to maximise the growth potential and sustainability of their soft fruit products.
The Ideal Candidate
To be a successful Tunnel Manager you will have experience in the planning of labour and agriculture machinery requirements, monitoring equipment stock levels and be able to provide initiative improvements of the generic tunnel construction. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in growing high-quality plants and being able to confidently communicate to ensure the job is done correctly. Successful candidates must be able to drive and hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have agriculture experience.
