Are you an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in managing finances in a manufacturing setting or ideally the food and drink industry? If you are ready and ambitious to grow your career in a business with plans to grow in the fast-moving plant-based category, then this may well be the opportunity for you. Clive’s is backed by Veg Capital as majority shareholders and is ready to expand our operation.

Buckfast Organic Bakery Ltd, is the home of Clive’s. We are master pie-makers who have been baking vegan pies, tarts and nut roast from the Devon countryside since the late eighties. We’ve always cared about the planet, baking naturally delicious, vegetarian and gluten free recipes for everyone to enjoy. Our food is full of fresh, organic, sustainably sourced ingredients and now, our entire range is 100% vegan. We have enjoyed steady growth and are pleased to be supplying Waitrose, Ocado, Abel & Cole and Morrisons, along with our huge network of independent health food shops across the country.  We have created a new home for Clive’s in beautiful Dartmouth, Devon, enabling us to meet the huge demand for our food now and in the future.

You will be responsible for managing our finances, supporting our Managing Director with key information that drives business decisions to meet an increase in demand as Clive’s grows.  This role will be required to handle both the daily transactions and understand monthly and quarterly reporting for strategy planning.  You will have the ability to employ and manage support internally and externally to meet the demands of the finance function as well as the opportunity to progress to the Executive level of the business in the future with proven performance.

Buckfast Organic Bakery Ltd is an ethical business, paying the real living wage and above. We’re full of mission driven team players who are very proud of our food. If you fit our culture and are interested in finding out more about this role then we would love to hear from you, please email us to request a copy of the job description and details of how to apply.
