The European division of a E2bn global group that has built on over 100 years of expertise to produce some of the best and most innovative audio devices in the world is looking to recruit a Marketing Director, managing the Uk&I, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg regions. The business is transforming the way it approaches marketing and looking for a strong marketing leader to drive change, build capability and create a robust commercial marketing framework.
The role of the Marketing Director is to work closely with commercial teams to build a clear marketing plan for the business, spanning a number of different channels and multiple markets, and building a strong brand perception across the sales channels. Building a deep understanding of sales channels and customers, this role will own the shaping of effective value propositions to drive customer acquisition and the execution of all marketing communications. The Marketing Director will be a key contributor to the wider global marketing network, taking a lead in feeding in local (qualitative and quantitative) insights of campaign effectiveness back into the network, contributing to messaging and asset production. In addition to a strong campaign focus, the Marketing Director will define, shape, and maintain the company’s image - enhancing the brand perception to current and future customers.
The successful candidate will have proven marketing leadership experience within an FMCG/Consumer business, be able to demonstrate examples of complex detailed campaign planning and have experience of managing marketing campaigns through to measurable outcomes, achieving market/category growth. An understanding of segmentation and targeting models will also be key.
