About the company:-
We are currently working with a very highly regarded and forward thinking Fresh Food Manufacturer, who, as a result of significant growth in the last couple of years, are looking to appoint an experienced National Account Manager. They have a very long standing history which has seen them change and adapt to a very complex and changing market place. This has enabled them to be very fleet of foot against their competitors, which has given them a very distinct advantage.

About The Role:-
You will be working closely with the Head of Commercial and will be responsible for managing and developing a couple of their key retail accounts. They have achieved great results with these customers and are looking for someone who can continue this development. You will be responsible for negotiating customer pricing and managing the inevitable tenders. You will be acting as the customer champion for your accounts, ensuring your voice is heard and the accounts are serviced appropriately.

The Ideal Candidate:-
A background in Fresh Food is crucial and Manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage. Experience with specific retailers is less important as they are pretty much dealing with all of them, so as long as you have experience with one or more of the top 7 that is fine. Attitude however is crucial. You will need to be a team player and be willing to step outside of your job description should the need arise. The business has done really well on the back of the whole team pulling together and operating as one, so team fit is critical.
