Head of Sales and Marketing | Fresh Produce | Evesham

Salary:- Dependent on experience but likely in the region of £60,000 - £70,000

About Our Client:-
We are currently working with a successful and well established fresh produce grower and importer. The last few years have seen the business develop significantly with their existing team, but due to some changes within the team, they now need to appoint a Head of Sales and Marketing to help them take the business to the next stage. For the right person, there is a real opportunity to drive growth and ultimately take on a directorship with the business.

About the Role:-
You will be working very closely with the senior management team and working with them to set the strategy for existing customers, business development and supplier relationships . Over time you will take on overall responsibility for the sourcing of their produce as well, so this will be an all encompassing position.

The Ideal Candidate:-
You will have a good level of experience in the Fresh Produce industry, ideally with an understanding of a range of UK grown Vegetables and Leaf crop. A proven track record of driving a team forward, strong customer relationships and overall strategic delivery is crucial. This could be within Retail (primary and secondary), Wholesale, Foodservice or B2B. Any experience in procurement would be a distinct advantage, but as long as you are willing to learn then that is the most important thing.
