General Sales Manager – Housewares / Cookware.
To £60,000 Basic plus a potentially lucrative bonus and plus a choice of either a company car or car allowance
Our client already enjoys much success in the National Accounts arena, however that success has not until now been entirely replicated in the independent retail sector. The company is aware of the massive potential offered by the independent retail sector, and is making a substantial investment in both premises and people to ensure that this potential is turned into profits. We have been briefed to identify and retain an accomplished individual who can manage the sales team, as well as the back office support and distribution functions.
You will ideally be an experienced sales and man manager, with experience of the independent retail and/or garden centre channel, however your category experience is less important than your commercial acumen, and we are open to applications from outside of Cookware/Housewares provided you have the requisite man management and commercial skills. Our Client will also consider Senior Sales people/National Account Manager with the aspiration & ability to manage people but who have not had previous experience in this area.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you should live in the south of the country ( ideally south of the M4 corridor ), and be fully mobile and willing to travel nationally and on occasions internationally.
In return for your hard work and dedication, our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of upto £60,000 plus a potentially lucrative bonus and plus a choice of either a company car or car allowance.
