A really exciting role with a huge FMCG client has become available for a very strong commercial candidate looking for a new challenge, working closely between Sales, Customer Development and Marketing and driving the Gifting Annual Plan with retail partners.

We are looking for someone who is confident, entrepreneurial and comes with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Commercial Operations Manager - Gifting

Description

The Commercial Operations Manager - Gifting will be responsible (in summary) for the following:-
  • this person, as part of the UK Gifting team will be responsible for the delivery and execution of the Gifting plan and coordinates the short and long term forecasts through their cross-functional relationships with the customer development, supply chain, UKI Gifting and finance teams
  • the role is pivotal in the creation of the Gifting annual plan and deploys their knowledge of the in-year plan to shape the following year's forecast
  • they will have a thorough understanding of the sell-in and sell-through as well as the profitability of each sku
  • they own, organise and support the creation and updating of the P&L and budgets
  • as the annual plan is executed they will chair the update meetings driving the full delivery of the plan and decisions to ensure 100% sell-in
  • they will work closely with the finance teams to help create the monthly gifting financial forecast
  • the successful person will be confident in making decisions as an individual


Profile

The Commercial Operations Manager - Gifting will come with the following key skills:-
  • strong attention to detail, tenacious and determined
  • results focused and highly commercial
  • finisher
  • P&L, JBP experience
  • FMCG background
  • creation of category stories
  • strong presentation skills and highly competent dealing with customers
  • internal and external stakeholder influencing skills
  • S&OP, Shopper Marketing and Supply chain working knowledge
  • agile - opportunist - highly creative
  • essential customer development and commercial P&L skills
  • previous experience in category and marketing desirable
  • ability to commute to the Surrey office min 1 day per week


Job Offer
