THE COMPANY:
We are a market leading Foodservice distributor operating across the UK.
As a recognised brand within the Foodservice sector we have demonstrated continued growth over a number of years and have grown to become a prominent wholesale supplier to many OOH outlets.
Our customer base is diverse both geographically and in terms of type of outlet we supply – and we have strong relationships with accounts across areas including education, coffee shops, pub groups, hotels and casual dining.
Our strong service levels ensure that we are agile to adapt to our customer’s needs and our product range is one-stop and comprehensive.
Due to ambitious growth plans post pandemic – we are seeking to develop our team with the addition of Area Sales Managers – to support us in further developing our relationships with independent foodservice business.
THE ROLE:
This position is focussed on developing business across a geographical area.
This area will consist of independent/free trade business across all sectors – including pubs, restaurants, hotels, education and healthcare.
Our product range is comprehensive, and as a result a large proportion of this role is upselling, cross selling and increasing share of wallet.
This area all has strong potential for growth – so you will also be expected to grow the area further through the addition of new business.
The contact level is also varied, ranging from owner/managers to contract catering manager/exec chef level.
THE APPLICANT.
We are looking to speak to candidates with a proven track record within field sales to the food service/on trade sector.
- Candidates must have a proven track record in developing business at free trade/chef level.
- Candidates from a Foodservice wholesale/distribution background are of particular interest.
- We will also consider candidates from a Foodservice manufacturer background targeting end user business.
- Candidates must be driven, structured and have experience across a broad range of foodservice end user sectors.
