A role has become available for a successful and driven FMCG sales professional to join one of the UK's leading sales and marketing agencies for the FMCG industry. We are looking for someone to work closely with and drive the relationship with one their major clients based in the south east.

The successful candidate will manage a field team of 10 so we are open to agency and manufacturing backgrounds with the appetite to drive the team ans account.

FMCG Account Manager - Blue Chip Customer

Description

The FMCG Account Manager - Blue Chip Customer will:-
  • work in conjunction with the Business Unit Controller
  • be responsible for providing strategic direction for our major client account, adding value and driving commercial development opportunities
  • agree and measure KPIs for the team - management of circa 10 heads
  • lead, coach, mentor and direct the team ensure key objectives are met
  • develop a structure and documents to report into the client, and internally and match these with the client's needs and requirements
  • control all budgets, look after the P&L of the account and ensure accurate reporting
  • dedicate time and energy to spending time with the client, use their offices as a place of work when needed and build the relationship up
  • the role requires the successful candidate to be mobile across London and the south east between home, the clients office and my clients office also - a company car is provided with the role


Profile

The FMCG Account Manager - Blue Chip Customer will come with the following skills and experience:-
  • previous account management experience within a commercial setting and ideally FMCG
  • experience of managing a small to medium sized team (ideally)
  • open to hearing from agency but also manufacturer / supplier backgrounds where you have the relevant national account / customer experience but maybe not team management AND also strong team managers and field team managers
  • driven, ambitious, very sociable and enjoy networking and leveraging the client to build lots of relationships
  • ability to travel nationally albeit we need someone based in South East England because of logistics
  • excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • excellent opportunity to really develop within the business and make the role your own

Job Offer

up to £50,000 base salary (dependent on experience) + Car + OTE + Benefits
