New Chapter are partnering with a hugely popular Champagne brand, as they seek a National Account Manager to join their growing UK operation.
With an incredibly prosperous stance in the global champagne market, this brand seeks an established NAM to come on board and drive growth of the brand within the UK. Focusing on premium off trade listings and operations, exciting and truly bespoke brand activations, and digital acceleration through ecommerce sales, I look to speak with dynamic, determined and digitally savvy Account Managers who seek their next challenge within the premium drinks market.
While being responsible for maintaining and winning relationships across premium grocers, 3rd party ecommerce (Amazon, Ocado, etc), and on demand grocery, the National Account Manager will be a confident and personable communicator, possess superior negotiation ability, and it goes without saying, will be highly strategic.
You will be working with a high-performing UK team, and will be supported by a Business Development Manager who will look to you for guidance, motivation and support. Further to this, you will be working closely with operational and marketing teams to ensure that all trade/customer marketing output is relevant, captivating and bespoke.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience of 3 years (minimum) within the drinks space – ideally within wines, champagne or for a challenger brand. You will be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing retailer accounts, and possibly even ecommerce accounts. Experience with Amazon would be highly advantageous, but is not necessary; what is necessary is a clear passion for wine and/or champagne (or fizz!), as well an understanding fo the premium/luxury sector.
