My client is one the world’s most exciting challenger consumer brands, and excitingly, they seek a Social Media Manager to join their powerhouse UK & IR team. This is a rare opportunity join a global brand that is making a clear impact in the world of beer, wine, and spirits.

Responsible for developing best in class social and paid media strategies that drive brand awareness and continue to keep an already established brand audience engaged, the Social Media Manager will be equal parts creative, analytical and strategic in their process and will understand the importance of a brands digital persona. With a clear ability to interpret and leverage data, you will use this knowledge to execute campaigns that support consumer behaviour and trends, and these campaigns will be highly creative, follower-centric and engaging. The Social Media Manager will also be responsible for the creation and management of content calendars for the UK and Ireland, and in alignment with this, will manage influencer relationships and engagement for these regions, too.

To that end, this role requires candidates who have at least 4 years’ experience in a social media/community management role, ideally with a consumer goods, retail or lifestyle brand.

As the brand has a HUGE presence across trade and customer activations, on-premise projects, and are constantly supporting live music, festivals and food and drink events, it is imperative that the Social Media Manager possesses a keen interest in this world, too! This is not your typical desk job – your phone and camera will be a true extension of you, and you will always be looking out for that next great piece of content that captures the brands spirit and strengthens the brands digital community.

This role would suit an outgoing, creative, and entrepreneurial extrovert, who is willing to take risks, challenge the status quo and have a keen interest in social, content and lifestyle brands. You will be joining a team of dynamic and passionate marketeers who are sociable, high-performing and passionate about scaling brands.
