Description
The Category Manager - Blue Chip FMCG will:-
- build collaborative relationships with UK retailer partners, in this case with Top 4 grocery customers
- drive long term sustainable category growth
- support the development of joint category plans and strategies delivering mutual growth
- influence our retailer partners through providing best in class customer and shopper insight which will inform range assortment, merchandising as well as price and promotional recommendations
- in addition the category manager will have 1 x direct report
Profile
The Category Manager - Blue Chip FMCG will come with the following skills and experiences:-
- proven experience in a category role and /or customer development and insights roles
- strong communication and presentation skills
- relationship building skills and experience
- high level of curiosity and drive
- analytically minded with an ambition to continue to improve
- strong working knowledge of Excel
- Strong influencing skills
- experience using Kantar, Nielsen and retailer data systems
The role is based from the Surrey office.
Job Offer
£40,000 to £50,000 basic salary per annum + strong benefits package and career development
