Buyer - Food Manufacturing - Central London

A great opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join a leading food manufacturer at an exciting time of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer with ingredients and/or packaging experience gained in the food manufacturing industry to join a leading business in Central London. As a Buyer you'll be responsible for developing the packaging capabilities within the business in line with my clients' long term strategy

This is an integral role in the business looking for someone to deliver the strategy and closely support the head of function. You'll be responsible for a wide range of packaging products and will have full accountability for supplier development and will work closely with key internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Candidates will be talented buyers with experience of working in the food manufacturing industry or other FMCG/short shelf life product areas. Strong procurement experience within food manufacturing is key and first hand knowledge of sourcing a variety of different packaging formats would be highly beneficial. Excellent stakeholder management and a proven track record of strong negotiation and influencing skills is essential.
