Role: National Account Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE + Bonus
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join one of the original leaders of the craft beer revolution. The business has an incredible range of Session Ales, IPAs, Stouts, Lagers and barrel aged beers, and have won countless awards. They started the unfined vegan beer sector, with all of their beers being naturally carbonated with live yeast as a real point of difference. As a completely independent business they have the full means of production in house, from laboratory work through high end canning, including expansion capacity for both ales and lagers. They have done some amazing collaboration work and they also raise money for charity. Having been brewing for nearly 15 years, they are instantly recognisable with strong branding and are looking to expand their team.
The opportunity is for a National Account Manager that will be focused upon expanding third party distribution for the business and on raising the profile of the business throughout the country. Although trading primarily with smaller independent distributors currently, there is ambition to increase national distribution through wholesale, pubco and supermarket channels. Someone with prior experience growing craft beer and lager brands with these routes to market would be ideal.
The role will include:
- Achieving new sales growth through relationship building with distributors and wholesalers
- Managing existing account base and increasing sales throughout area
- Acting as the primary contact for national accounts and the business
- Liaising with On and Off Trade customers to drive volume through partners
- Being an ambassador of the products and company in trade and at events
This role will be perfect for someone who has previous sales experience within the drinks industry and has a love for craft beer. Proven experience achieving sizeable growth through these channels with premium brands will put you at an advantage as will an in-depth knowledge of both the traditional and craft segments of the market.
