This is a complex position which involves account management of consortia related foodservice accounts.
This is a combination of Foodservice end user accounts managed via consortia, and also relationships with the purchasing consortia directly.
The role is account management focussed – but also involved retendering and tendering for contracted business in this area.
There is responsibility in the role for maintaining contracted service levels but also effective menu planning and food costing at a central level and delivering on-trend solutions to add value to our clients catering solutions.
The role is home based but will involve national travel and interaction with other team members and marketing.
This opportunity is well suited to a National Account Manager with strong account management skills, and a structured approach to contract based relationships.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for foodservice sales professionals of National Accounts level to further develop their career with a genuine foodservice market leading brand.
• Candidates will preferably have foodservice sales experience at National Accounts level but can also come from a strong regional foodservice sales background with the drive to progress into a national accounts level role.
• Candidates are welcomed from a sales background with a foodservice wholesaler or foodservice manufacturer.
• Experience at managing relationships with consortia led accounts or working for a foodservice purchasing consortia is advantageous.
• Candidates must work well within a team environment but also be driven and dynamic target achievers.
