Category and Insights Executive
Salary Range: 34-37k
Location: London
Do you have a passion for category and insights? Would you like to put your passion into practice with an amazing global food business that specialises in both dairy and plant-based fresh products? If so, this opportunity could be for you!
- You will be responsible for proactively generating relevant insight in order to identify key category and customer opportunities
- You will play a central role in developing category-based relationships with key retailers
This business is looking for a passionate, hardworking individual who is at the early stages of their career and looking for an opportunity in which they can develop and progress their category skills. You will play an integral role in highlighting brand growth opportunities and working cross-functionally with the sales team to help the wider business understand the brand and its competitors.
In this role you will:
- Ensure customer partners receive regular category data insight documents
- Work with retailer category and merchandising teams to ensure the brands products are best positioned in stores
- Provide day to day support to the sales and marketing managers
- Advise on NPD trends, product positioning, promotional strategy and retail implementation
Successful candidates:
- You will experience working in the UK FMCG environment
- You will have a high level of analytical and data interpretation skills
- You will be a strong communicator with the ability to develop actionable insights for the category within the channel
