An exciting opportunity for a newly appointed Interim Category Manager to work with some of the fastest growing and most profitable categories within a global consumer electronics business.

Client Details

A global brand leader in consumer electronics, working within their specialist Telcos division.

Description
  • Working with the channel teams to ensure the category strategy is optimised with the Telcos channel partner (Vodafone)
  • Being an integral member of the commercial team looking to deliver new business opportunities within the given account
  • Managing the day to day running of the category
  • Work with virtual teams to maintain customer insight and produce holistic summaries to inform strategic direction
  • Utilise monthly GFK data to produce internal highlight reports, inform future strategies and produce sell in materials for channel teams where relevant
  • Contributes to the setting of the account sales strategy and assists channel sales teams to maximise growth opportunities for the business and in house share
  • Work with channel execution teams to optimise the channel execution, journey and marketing plans
  • Support channel JBP plans for our categories and work on annual plans for all non JBP customers
  • Support key customer meetings bringing together insight and foresight


Profile
  • A passion for technology trends, particularly their impact on retail and consumer landscapes
  • Experience of working with and optimising growth categories
  • A relentless sense of curiosity; an interest in how and why things work as they do
  • Strong empathetic abilities & general emotional intelligence
  • A desire for continuous personal self-improvement
