Our Client:

  • Category leading alcoholic drinks supplier.
  • Very well established in the UK from both an On and Off Trade perspective and currently in double digit growth.

  • They are now looking for a highly dynamic leader to head up their On Trade Sales Channel

The role: 

  • As On Trade Sales Director you will have sole commercial responsibility for this channel
  • Be responsible for developing and driving the commercial strategy both within team and across the organisation
  • Lead and develop a large team of direct and indirect reports with 2nd tier line management responsibility
  • Work with the SLT and be responsible for shaping the long-term strategy of the brands in channel
  • Be responsible for top-to-top negotiations and driving successful JBP’s.

Ideal candidate: 

  • Blue Chip trained with a background in a large FMCG Brand
  • Track record of achievement on the On Trade Channel
  • Have experience of leading large teams to commercial success
  • Will have a diverse customer background
  • Possess an inquisitive and entrepreneurial mindset to challenge the status quo and invigorate the channel
  • Be an expert communicator and able to influence at board level
  • Possess experience managing complex P&L’s and negotiating JBP’s
  • Be agile and be able to deal with change
