National Account Manager for a leading distributor of sports apparel and equipment.

Client Details

A global distributor of sports and apparel products are looking to increase their presence in the highstreet retail/mass market channel. The business boast a huge portfolio of leading brands, with a state of the art warehousing facility.

Description

The role:

An exciting opportunity to join the Sales team in the role of National Account Manager. Working alongside the existing team you will be responsible for growing the highstreet channel. The business currently have a strong presence in specialist highstreet sports shops, but they have some incredible brands that work well in the likes of Argos, John Lewis etc. You will take ownership for growing and developing this channel with a great opportunity to progress internally into a Head of Channel role in the future.

This dynamic role requires a confident and determined approach, a positive outlook and passion for the product, with the ability to multi-task whilst working on your own initiative.



Profile

This role is flexible on the location of the successful candidate.

The requirements:

Essential:
  • Managed experience in an FMCG business managing highstreet retail customers in a National Account Manager capacity.
  • Proven commercial and business acumen.
  • Commercial experience and negotiation through ownership of pricing, terms and marketing investment.
  • Delivered multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Experience working with branded products


Job Offer

Up to £45,000 + car or car allowance, 20% bonus + benefits
