Job Details

Job Title: Key Account Manager - Export (Beverages)

Reports to: Managing Director

Principal accountability:

◦ Increase the sales and margin performance of your account portfolio/region in line with company budgets

◦ Utilise available resources to their maximum effectiveness

Job role & accountabilities:

◦ Build long-term relationships with all key customers that results in us being their preferred supplier and ensures we achieve our account objectives –balance selling the core offer with entrepreneurially exploiting all sales opportunities within all key accounts

◦ Create and implement an Export sales strategy for your accounts/region ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy and objectives

◦ Manage the account planning process ensuring alignment to the budget (sales, margin and profitability) and activity targets

◦ Ensure that account plans are maintained and used to drive sales activity – update via CRM

◦ As part of the strategy and business planning process ensure that there is a defined list of target countries with a clear entry (RTM) and growth strategy for each(off-trade and on-trade)

◦ Develop a detailed insight into your region that translates in to an expertise that is highly valued by our suppliers

◦ Implement a “light touch” training package for use with the sales teams of our distributors

◦ Personally deliver the above package to all relevant customers sales team in an office setting and/or in the field

◦ Utilise internal resources to ensure that all customer administration is handled correctly

◦ Manage account support budget; define annual calendar of activities that includes a visit program, trade show attendances and customer support
