Sales Manager (Foodservice & Retail) – High End/Premium Foods
£35-45.000 Basic, Lucrative Bonus, Company Car + Benefits
Our Client supplies high end/prestigious food products to high end prestigious accounts within both Foodservice and Retail channels. Customers include Michelin Starred restaurants and premium specialist retailers.
From humble beginnings growth has been explosive and as a result they are looking for a Sales Manager to manage one direct report and a portfolio of existing accounts across both Retail & Foodservice channels. There will also be a strong emphasis on growing sales by developing New Business within these channels.
Key experience and attributes our Client is looking for include a genuine passion for and knowledge of food. The jobholder will need to speak credibly about premium food products to high end Retail & Foodservice accounts. Candidates will ideally come from a High End/Premium Food category background however our Client may also consider candidates from a Premium Drinks background as long as they have a passion for food in general.
Experience of selling premium products to premium outlets is essential please.
An accomplished & proven Account Manager is also important. A proactive approach and a track record of developing new business within premium Retail and/or Foodservice outlets is essential.
People management experience is not necessarily required as long as candidates can demonstrate potential in this area and a genuine ambition to manage people.

Candidates should live in the South East region as they will need to be in the Company’s office in the South East approximately 2 days a week.
