The Business
Our client is one of the world’s leading specialists of high quality specialised products, catering to the needs of consumers affected by coeliac disease and those who seek to maintain a gluten, wheat and/or lactose free diet. Spanning across a wide range of categories, it’s products include bread, pasta, baking ingredients and frozen convenience foods. With the headquarters of the Group based in Italy, its international presence is further extended to offices and production facilities within Germany, Spain and the USA. Recognised for their innovation, quality & international leadership, they are now looking for a National Account Manager to join their successful Commercial team in the UK.
The Role
As part of the UK commercial team you will be responsible for managing a mix of new and existing customers and distributors in the UK and Irish Foodservice sector. This will include the likes of Pizza Hut and Bella Italia along with Brakes and Healthfood accounts. In establishing success in these accounts you will be involved in the management of terms, investment, promotional activity, business planning and the delivery of the product range, through to collating market and competitor intelligence, whilst building and developing the branding opportunity for the business across your customer base.
The Individual
You will probably be seeking your first or second career move and gained commercial experience within an FMCG environment. This will be coupled with the intellect and drive to operate both autonomously and as part of a team that enables you to move at pace and without compromise to deliver an exceptional service to companies discerning customers.
