National Sales Manager – Biocote

Biocote is a leader in the world of antimicrobial additives as used in the manufacturing process across many different non-food/non consumable industry sectors. This is a rapidly developing technology attracting a host of applications and customers. The technology can be found in a wide ranging base of manufacturing customers including food manufacturing equipment, medical equipment, tanks and pipes, fabrics and containers to name a few. Although relatively small, the Company is highly innovative & ambitious with exciting plans for expansion with a growing & impressive portfolio of Blue Chip customers.
A vacancy has arisen for a National Sales Manager to manage & develop UK & international customers, directly manage a small sales team, liaise with and manage/appoint sales agents and/or distributors as necessary. This is a critical senior appointment for Biocote and will play a key role in the future success of the Company.
The role is responsible for overseeing & managing Biocote’s total sales on a national & international scale. The primary job function will be to drive sales and profitability. This is a senior role and will work closely with Biocote’s Managing Director in setting and implementing achievable commercial sales strategies across the whole of the business.
To be considered for this exciting position, you should already be at a Senior Sales level with a strong technical background. Experience with technically formulated products in one or more of Biocote’s end markets such as plastics, performance textiles, powder coatings, liquid paints or ceramics is important. A proactive & positive approach to sales is essential with very much a “hunter” mentality. The ability to manage people or the potential to be a successful people manager is essential.
Candidates must live commutable distance to Biocote’s Head Office in Coventry. Regular travel overseas & across the UK will be required.
