The role

 Our client has ambitious UK growth plans and they are now looking to recruit an Import/Export Coordinator who will report to the International Supply Chain Manager.

The main purpose of this exciting role is working daily on freight forwarders on shipping bookings and managing all documentation requirements and Import and Export logistics. You will be responsible for ensuring suppliers comply with the required documentation regulations. You will also process shipment orders direct from suppliers, review and approve invoices and ensure stock is in the right location at the right time.

About you

The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of Import/Export documentation and the logistics flow and process within an FMCG business.

To be successful you will need to possess strong organisational and time management skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be an excellent multi-tasker.

The job requires a confident, resilient individual, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You will be naturally highly organised, calm under pressure and have a keen attention to detail. You possess excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
