A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a successful commercial professional to join this market-leading consumer goods business (selling through ecommerce) as their new Global Channel Partner Development Manager - overseeing and developing the global b2b distribution network and partnership model.

As well as selling direct to the consumer in the UK, my client is looking for someone who can manage the existing global partners and find new partners.

The Global Channel Partner Development Manager (ecommerce)

Description

The Global Channel Partner Development Manager (ecommerce) will;
  • work alongside the current Global Channel Manager to gain all the necessary skills before they leave the business (can be discussed) allowing them to make their own mark on the role
  • get passionate about the products and be able to live and breath the product portfolio
  • come with a firm knowledge of selling through ecommerce platforms with experience of online marketing a website analysis
  • support the right partners in developing their online marketing propositions and websites to make them successful sales channels
  • be able to discuss online marketing techniques with the distribution partners, what they are doing to promote the brand and how effective this is
  • come with good knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, understanding the journey from factory to partner to customer
  • have strong financial acumen, P&L management, joint business planning skills and set the right trade and retail pricing for maximum profit margins
  • come with a positive attitude and approach and be a great member of the team in this small but very successful business

Successful candidates will need to be able to commute to the Surrey office for at least 50% of the working week.

Candidates will also be able to travel internationally - circa an international trip every other month.

Job Offer

The Global Channel Partner Development Manager (ecommerce) can expect a salary between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum - depending on experience and what they bring to the role. Please be aware there is no commission or bonuses with this role. Further benefits as well as progression and organic growth are available with my client.
