Regional Sales Executive – Drinks
c.£32,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Leading Pension Plan
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual has arisen within a specialist independent spirits business. This business is renowned for having great, well-known brands with fantastic heritage and sustainability. As a business with a multi-national presence in both the On and Off Trade, they supply the world’s largest retailers and groups and also sell to small, independent restaurants and bars. They have fantastic growth plans and are consistently investing in their people and infrastructure in order to achieve their goals. They are now looking for Regional Sales Executive to cover the North East with a large focus on Newcastle.
As Regional Sales Executive your primary task will be to increase visibility, activation and distribution within the area’s On Trade outlets. You will focus on the mid to high end independent bars and will also cover small groups and some hotels. You will ideally be trained in cocktail making as a large part of the role will be to discuss options with the bar owner/manager for getting the brands onto their cocktail menu. This is a field based role with travel involved so effective journey planning is a must. You will also manage specialist independent spirits stores within the area, increasing listings and activating the brands in-store when necessary.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have had experience in a field based role in the FMCG arena. Drinks experience is not a necessity but if you are from outside of the industry, it is essential that you are a fast learner and passionate about developing a career in drinks.
