The Asia Pacific region is set to become a long-term driver of growth for the Vimto brand and Nichols PLC. New market entry is a strategic priority for the business and will play a fundamental role in the future growth plans of Nichols PLC.

This is an exciting time to join the International Commercial team with plans in place to enter/develop our presence in markets such as Malaysia, the Indian Subcontinent and the wider ASEAN geography.

Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision and leadership within the Region, to drive new market openings and brand development
  • P&L accountability for the Region
  • Building strong relationships, managing & influencing new & existing Partners in the Region
  • Identifying & developing new business opportunities across RTMs, markets, customers & products
  • Developing & overseeing Partners /3rd Party execution of brand-building activities
  • Maintaining accurate reports of partners' sales forecasts and growth plans
  • NPD Project Management for the Region
  • Offer leadership & support within internal cross-functional working committees
  • Liaising with supply chain and other functions to deliver excellent customer service within the Region
  • Conduct thorough market insights to underpin the financial performance of the Region
  • In order to build relationships with potential partners and be a Vimto brand ambassador, you must be prepared to spend extended periods of time on the ground in the Region

The Successful Applicant

You will have the below skills and experience:

  • International sales and marketing experience within Asia and the Middle East Regions
  • Experience of developing market entry strategies and execution
  • Experience of New business development with a focus on opening up new markets
  • Multi-layer communication (from street vendor to Senior Management)
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
  • Ability to manage and influence diverse and multicultural partners
  • Ability to manage marketing budgets
  • Experience within a Branded FMCG Business
  • A flexible, resourceful, self-motivated, intuitive and pro-active individual
  • Must be based in the UK
