Key Account Manager – Fine Dining.
£34,987 to £39,854 Basic plus bonus and a choice of company car or car allowance
Our client has retained us to identify and recruit an accomplished new business person to manage an existing portfolio of top end restaurants and hotels in the south east of England. Although the emphasis will be on maximising the considerable new business potential, you will also be briefed to manage, maintain and maximise the existing customer base which requires to continue to be serviced. Although the majority of the accounts are supplied directly there is a current change in strategy which will ensure greater coverage and greater efficiencies by utilising and building upon the existing network of independent wholesalers. Although not essential that you have had previous exposure to the wholesale channel you should enjoy a high level of commercial acumen, along with an understanding of the added value a wholesale network can bring to both customers and supplier alike.
To be considered for this exciting role you should have sold high end / premium food or drink products into quality hotels and restaurants ( ranging from 4 star hotels at the bottom end up to Michelin star restaurants at the top ). You will need to love talking food and all things food ( or drink ) with chefs and Food and Beverage Managers, and you will need to exude passion for these fine dining products, and quickly develop an understanding of how they can further enhance the fine dining experience for the end user’s own customers. A knowledge of the London fine dining scene would be something of an advantage.
In return for your hard work and dedication our client is offering a basic salary of between £34,987 to £39,854 plus bonus and a choice of company car or car allowance. You should live within the south / south east of the country. Career prospects are excellent for the right candidate.
