The business has grown over the last 10 years with focus on quality and delivery to create a reputation amongst both retail and foodservice customers to create fantastic products which are sold here and on the continent. Growth in the UK and now requires the appointment of individuals to support a busy commercial team.
You will join as part of a close knit team where customer relationships and delivery are key measures of success. Expectations are that you will have daily involvement with UK retail convenience customersincluding COOP, Nisa Spar and Londis to identify new range extensions and upgrades whilst attending to NPD, pricing and costing structures within the category. Experience managing branded and private label products and engagement in factory trials would be an advantage with this role to assist in the sourcing and delivery of new products.
To be successful, you will have a history of working in a close knit commercial team using your analytical and commercial experience in the convenience sector. Your understanding of the working methods in Spar and Coop will be as important as your abilities to operate autonomously with energy and vigour. So be prepared to commit yourself.
