An international food and FMCG business looking for an ambitious Trading Manager to lead a team and be part of the global expansion.
This a great opportunity to manage several key suppliers and manufacturers as a Trading Manager but also work closely with the sales, category and operations as a key stakeholder in the commercial activity across international regions. Your role will be to support the sales team and deliver the right products, to the right customers at the right time.
The remit is to improve availability and range of products as well as manage pricing and promotions. The role will have 2 direct reports and manage the overall Trading KPIs across the department.
Because of the hybrid nature of the role, it will suit someone from either commercial, category management, buying or national account management.
You must be working within the Food or FMCG sector currently and any export or international experience would be highly advantageous.
Other essential experience includes…
- People management, coaching, development and leadership
- You will be a strong negotiator and have experience of working with major grocery retailers (Top 4 preferably)
- Experience of JBO, pricing and promotional management
- Strength in numeracy, excel skills and forecasting
