My client, based in Berkshire, are a market leading manufacturer of computer games and trading cards and are looking to add a Retail Sales Manager - Gaming to their global business.

Description

Retail Sales Manager - Gaming:

Role Purpose:

- The role will be supporting the Sales lead to manage an existing retail customer base delivering growth working across the mass channel retailers

- Targeting new business, the role will identify the key retailers and prioritise these. The role will also have ownership of each pitch including presentations and other material needed.

Key Accountabilities:

- Main responsibility is to drive sales with mass retailers through account management and business development

- Creating the strategic channel growth plan by market

- Developing and implementing sales plans by retailer

- Working with the UK marketing team to gain visibility and in-store space

- Monthly sell-out analysis, forecasting and reporting by retailer

- Build strong internal relationships and work cross functionally within the business.

Profile

Retail Sales Manager - Gaming:

- A proven track record within a sales or buying role

- Or an applicant with retail leadership experience

- Experience selling to retailers or e-tailers, although this is desired and not essential

- Experience with one or more of these retailers - HMV, Menkind, GAME, Hamleys, Smyths Toys, Toymaster + Waterstones - although this is desired not essential

- A proven track record developing accounts and growing them

- A proven track record opening new accounts

- Great organisational skills and high attention to details

- Forecasting, data & trend analysis

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Excellent relationship builder

- A passion for trading card games / gaming.

Job Offer

Retail Sales Manager - Gaming:

- £30,000 - £40,000 per annum basic salary

- 2 days a week working from home, 3 days a week in a Berkshire office
