We have three rare opportunities to join the AkzoNobel National Accounts Team.

These opportunities have become available because our team has successfully grown into other fantastic National Account Team roles and secondly, we are looking to increase the resource across our National Accounts Team to continue to build and nurture our customer relationships.

We are looking for experienced, passionate sales professionals, who are effective at managing business growth, nurturing customer relationships and who have a passion for the brands they will represent.

As a Customer Business Manager, you will take responsibility for the relationship with the customer, managing our account portfolio and the key P&L metrics including budgeted GIV, volume, mix and margin. You will implement promotional plans aligned to guidelines and seasonality as well as create engagement plans to drive customer relationships. You will also oversee stakeholder management and collaborate with the customer to produce forecasting and performance reporting. You will effectively manage aged debt and cash flow to ensure targets are met on a monthly basis too.

Of graduate calibre, you must have a background in a senior sales management role and FMCG experience is desired. You will be good at building relationships at all levels and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Self-motivated, you will enjoy prioritising work in a fast-paced environment. You will also demonstrate an understanding of complex customers, issues and markets too and remember – a full driving licence is essential.
