The UK division of an established FMCG business, trading for over 100 years, with a portfolio of household brands and products is now looking to add to its local category capability. The organisation is on a sustainability mission to become 100% CIRCULAR. That means they want raw materials at the start of the journey and products at the end of their life to be recycled.
Category and Insight Management has been identified as a key strategic driver on a European and local level. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the Category & Insights Manager will help create and deliver a compelling 3 year rolling category vision, roadmap, and tactics. Working closely with trade partners, this role will leverage marketing potential and optimise top & bottom-line results.
Candidates must have experience of category management/category insights and have worked with brands, from either a manufacturing, retail or agency background. An understanding of shopper marketing tools and shopper behaviour at POS is essential. The role requires individuals to work cross functionally in a matrix environment and possess an international mindset.
