My client is a privately owned , global brand within Health & Beauty. Manufacturing a range a bath & body products in the UK.
Purpose of role
To drive sales across the global E-Commerce account base, including their own websites and e-commerce retail customers and to achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Managing accounts such as Amazon & Feel unique alongside other etail accounts.
Roles & responsibilities
- Act as the strategic and operational lead for all e-commerce customers, including retail customers and the company's own websites as directed – agree short term plans to drive sales as well as develop and secure buy in for medium term growth plans
- Proactively identify and maximise short term tactical opportunities whilst building longer term strategic plans
- Secure and drive increases in distribution across existing and new branded ranges at agreed pricing
- Implement promotional and visibility driving initiatives to ensure that strong ROS is achieved online
- Develop, lead, and own the UK key account promotional plan
- Establish positive relationship with all key customers – ensure that all have appropriate frequency of contact. Contact strategy to be agreed internally and externally
- Follow up on all new opportunities identified in each customer meeting so that sales can be maximised
- Quickly address any issues by customers to ensure that a positive impression of the brand is always left
- Follow up on new business leads promptly and effectively
- To deputise for other UK commercial manager’s, on account interface, in their absence
Accountabilities
- Ultimately the lead point of accountability for sales delivery and growth across the UK, Europe, and ROW
- Provide a monthly report of delivery against targets set, including specific sales budget targets
- Meet weekly with Commercial Director to review weekly delivery and agree next week’s priorities
- Achieve sales targets
- Achieve new listings in line with targets agreed
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge
- Demonstrate excellent selling skills
Work based competencies
- In depth knowledge of relevant markets and routes to market
- Good time management skills – ability to manage multi tasked agenda effectively
- Good analytical skills - ability to gather data, analyse and interpret
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Explorer
